Hermanus is situated along the southern coastline of south Africa,near the world famous attraction of the garden route.Its one of the 12th world capital of southern right whales watching during the southern winter to spring seasons.The town is noted for the presence of whales that often swim within the sight of the coastline of the town.Although the southern right whale is the most prolific species in Hermanus bay ,it is not the only species in the area .The whales can be seen from the cliffs all along the coast from as early as June and usually depart in early-December.

Cape Point- Situated at the south western tip of Africa that runs north -south about thirty kilometres at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent and is a promontory at the south east corner of cape peninsula,the cape point nature reserve is one of the most pristine and unspoiled places on earth ,with dramatic cliffs,pristine beaches and breathtaking views , a mountainous and scenic landform The reserve is truly sight to behold.

Cape of good hope-It is the most south- western point of the African continent.Its known for the stormy weather and rough seas encountered there .Along with indigenous plants and flowers ,you may well spot some of the animals living in the cape o good hope nature reserve fynbos habitat.We have bontebok,eland ,and red hartebeest as well as cape rhebok and grysbok grazing on the heathery slopes .If lucky you may even see some of the extremely rare cape mountain zebra.We also have ostriches stride through the low fynbos,and occassionally african penguins come ashore.

Most of the houses and apartments are built on steep cliffs with outstanding views of the Atlantic Ocean. Clifton beach is broken up into four parts separated by granite rocks. The beaches are below the cliff which provides cover from the winds. Clifton fourth beach is the most popular beach for young adults. The older crowd prefers first beach, which is two beaches away from the bustling scene of Clifton fourth. All the Clifton beaches have pure white sand and the water temperature is very cold (between 10-14 degrees celsius), but it is ideal for the hot summer days in Cape Town. By many accounts, Clifton's beaches are rated among the top beaches in the world.Camps bay is another affluent area down just the road from clifton.Like clifton many of the houses are embedded in the mountain slopes. Camps Bay is known for its beauty; and it is probably the most beautiful beach in all of South Africa. There are Giant Palm trees along the beach of pure white sand. Camps Bay is the place where you will find many foreign beach combers. Camps Bay has various beach events throughout the year which include volleyball and beach soccer tournaments. Besides its natural beauty, Camps Bay is one of the most popular beaches in Cape Town due to the fact that there are many stalls and restaurants along the beachfront.
