HERMANUS (WHALES WATCHING)

Signal Hill or call it Lions Rump -as it is attached to Lions Head by a spine of Hills .It is a landmark flat -topped hill located in cape town ,next to Lions head and table mountain,Together with the Lions Head,signal hill looks like a Lion sphinx.Signal hill is one of the most famous spots in cape Town for sundowners,the peak is 350m high ,one can enjoy the spectacular views especially at night.

Hermanus is situated along the southern coastline of south Africa,near the world famous attraction of the garden route.Its one of the 12th world capital of southern right whales watching during the southern winter to spring seasons.The town is noted for the presence of whales that often swim within the sight of the coastline of the town.Although the southern right whale is the most prolific species in Hermanus bay ,it is not the only species in the area .The whales can be seen from the cliffs all along the coast from as early as June and usually depart in early-December.

Visit seal island on an amazing ocean safari. Watch playful seals,a variety of birds and beautiful landscapes. If you are in luck you may see the majestic whales,joyful dolphins and various other sea life creatures,mostly the marine five which are dolphins,great white shark,penguin,seals and whales.
